* Cosmo and George
Cosmo is an alien on a mission. Sent to Earth by The Glorious Leader to Cosmo is an alien with a mission to learn more about earth and earthlings by landing in the USA.
But on his way to Earth, Cosmo gets lost and crash lands on a tiny island - Singapore. Armed but totally unprepared, Cosmo finds he has crash landed in someone’s backyard and finds a ten year old girl, Georgina (but everyone calls her George!), who is an only child. Both being losers in their own way, the two become fast friends.
Together they discover that life may be tough and complicated, but with a friend by your side, the learning journey becomes more enjoyable.
George tells a white lie to her parents, about how Cosmo is Cousin Soon Kueh from the old kampung. The household is made up of the father, Eugene Long, who has no control over his emotions, mother, Rebecca Long, who is over protective, and Grandfather, Ye Ye, who is just plain rude, grumpy and extremely negative about anything and everything.
The next door neighbour, Zul, is the son of a multi millionaire, and lives in the huge mansion alone. Bored and looking for excitement in his life, he suspects something is not right with Cosmo and is determined to uncover the secret.
At school, George’s only two friends are fellow nerds, Hong Meng and Cornelius. George’s teacher, Miss Leena, is a stern but fair teacher who has a soft spot for George, but can be extremely hyper when she gets angry or excited.
Cosmo and George turn each other’s lives upside down as they learn and teach each other about life, love and customs. The story-lines will centre on Cosmo’s attempts to understand Singapore’s crazy culture and the confusing human interaction and relationships herein. While George learns news and different perspectives on what she thought was the norm, and slowly learns how to fit in.
At the end of each episode Cosmo reports telepathically to The Glorious Leader about what he’s learnt, while all the while trying to keep his real identity a secret from the people around him.
